American Friends of British Art kicked off its first annual Lecture & Luncheon Series at the Phillips Point Club in West Palm Beach, where guest speaker The Marquess Townshend provided a visual presentation titled, “Raynham Hall and the Townshend Archives.” Lord Townshend, who is also patron of AFBA, led attendees on a guided tour of his ancestral home Raynham Hall, giving particular focus to historic pieces of furniture, artwork and select documents from the family archives, which date more over 900 years.
