2018 Lecture & Luncheon

The 7th annual Lecture & Luncheon for American Friends of British Art was held at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach in January 2018. The guest speaker was Lord Edward “Ted” Innes-Ker, son o f the Duke of Roxburghe. His presentation titled “An American at Floors Castle: The Fascinating Story of the 8th Duchess of Roxburghe” focused primarily on his great-grandparents, the 8th Duke and Duchess of Roxburghe, who revitalized their ancestral seat, Floors Castle, and added to its art collection.

First Republic Bank returned as the Presenting Sponsor. Additional sponsors included Smith and Moore Architects, Findlay Galleries, Paris Ceramics, Jennifer Garrigues Design, Rick Moeser of Christie’s Interanational Real Estate, David Mitchell Brown of Scott Snyder Interior Design, Katherine Shenaman Interiors, Paul Bowden & Ryan McNally, and gift bags provided by Pioneer Linens.
